Cards were considered a go-to game for many parents growing up. Now for their kids, with so many options for games, including technology, playing cards isn't at the top of the list anymore.
The following are some easy and fun card games for kids. All you need is a standard 52 card deck. Other than Solitaire, the games usually require 2 or more people to play.

The object of the game is to make the most matches or pair. Keep your cards facing yourself and away from all the opponents sights. Ask for a card you would like to match. If they don't have it, you will hear the words Go Fish!
The object of the game is to get rid of all of your cards first. Turn four cards over around the rest of the deck of cards like the shape of a cross. Like Solitaire, put down piles in descending ranking order and by color. Empty corners can be occupied by a new King card.
The object of the game is to capture all of the cards in the deck by slapping the jacks that are at the top of the pile first. Every player puts a card down quickly face up. The player that slaps the jack at the top first get to keep all of the cards in the pile.
The object of the game is to get four-of-a-kind of any face value. Each play takes turns pick up a card from the deck and discarding it or a different card. The first to get all four of the same card wins.
