It was very heartfelt and came from a place of obvious empathy to the situation.”

“I’m starting to feel uncomfortable making fun of these people. Comedy should have a certain amount of joy in it. It should be about us attacking the powerful people, attacking the politicians and the Trumps and the blowhards, going after them. We shouldn’t be attacking the vulnerable people. I think my aim’s been off a bit and I want to change it. So tonight no Britney Spears jokes. This woman has two kids. She’s 25 years old. She’s a baby herself. She’s a baby.”

“But everybody in hip-hop discriminates against gay people, that’s one of the standards of hip-hop. […] Me speaking for my entire culture, me looking at my rappers out there, hip-hop is discriminating against gay people. I really wanna say this, I really wanna say this to America. I wanted to just come on TV and tell my rappers, just tell my friends, ‘Stop it, fam.’ Seriously, that’s really discrimination. To me, that’s exactly what they used to do to Black people. All the poor white people, all the poor black people, all the Hispanics, they’re in the same boat. They’ve got no economic opportunities. They spend all their time blaming each other because rich people throw words at them like illegal immigration and racism and things like that.
